Formerly Robertson & Marchetti, P.C., the firm was founded by Lynn Robertson in 1974 to provide accounting services fo the Eagle-Vail Metropolitan District.  Over the years the firm broadened its specialization in accounting, administration and management for metropolitan districts and property owners associations for planned communities. The firm also provides tax, accounting and small business consulting services. Today, the firm is owned and operated by Ken Marchetti and Eric Weaver, with the support of a team of professionals that service more than 70 clients throughout the State of Colorado.

Kenneth J. Marchetti, CPA

Principal

Ken Marchetti graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from New Mexico State University in 1976 and started his career with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company in Midland, Texas. He worked in both the audit and tax departments of Peat Marwick and then relocated to Denver, Colorado in 1980. In Denver, Mr. Marchetti initially worked in the oil and gas industry, first for Hamilton Brothers Oil Company and then for Sundance Oil Company, ultimately serving as Sundance's Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. To accommodate the financial needs of the primary shareholder of Sundance, it was liquidated in 1984. The domestic operations were spun out in a leveraged buy-out and the Canadian operations were sold to the Energy Department of the Province of Quebec in a $350 million transaction.

Following the liquidation of Sundance, Mr. Marchetti established a CPA firm in Denver, providing accounting and tax services primarily to the oil and gas, construction and homebuilding industries. The firm's key client was a Denver homebuilder, Richland Homes. Richland built approximately 50 homes per year in the late 1980s and grew to 300 homes per year in 1993.


In early 1994, Mr. Marchetti joined Mr. Robertson's firm in Eagle County, Colorado. Since 1994, Mr. Marchetti has been the managing partner, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the firm, which handles the accounting, budgeting, and administration for metropolitan districts, property owners associations and golf courses.


Mr. Marchetti is a member of the American Institute and Colorado Society of CPAs, the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves on the boards of various business, civic and community organizations.


Eric Weaver, CPA

Principal

Eric Weaver graduated from Adams State Colorado College in Alamosa, Colorado in the spring of 2003, with degrees in Accounting, Finance, and Management Information Systems. He then worked for Chadwick, Steinkirchner, Davis & Co. in Grand Junction as head auditor on several audited clients of the Firm as well as numerous other governmental and non-profit entities throughout the state of Colorado.


Mr. Weaver joined the Firm in 2005 and became a shareholder of the Firm in 2009. His primary responsibilities for the firm include overseeing the accounting and administration for a number of metropolitan districts and associations as well as the managing partner of the front range office.


Mr. Weaver is a member of the Colorado Society of CPA's, the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. 


Debbie Braucht

Account Manager

Debbie Braucht graduated with honors in 1994 with an AAS Accounting Degree from Colorado Mountain College.  Prior to graduation from CMC Ms. Braucht worked in the ski, hotel and restaurant industries in Lake, Summit and Eagle Counties. She has since worked in the Valley for the past 16 years in the areas of banking, construction and public accounting.


Ms. Braucht joined the Firm in 2001 and works with numerous Special Districts and Homeowner Associations providing a full range of accounting, administration, and management services to these clients.


Ms. Braucht is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association.


Cheri Curtis

Account Manager

Cheri Curtis attended Colorado State University majoring in accounting. After college Ms. Curtis worked in the accounting department for Teledyne Water Pik, owned and operated a child care facility, and was the Business Manager for three different companies in Fort Collins prior to joining the firm.


Ms. Curtis joined the Firm in 1995 as an account manager. She later moved to Georgia in 2004 and returned to the Firm in 2006. Ms. Curtis provides accounting and administration for special districts and homeowner association clients of the firm.


Ms. Curtis served for six years on the board of directors of Western Eagle County Metropolitan Recreation District, and continues to volunteer with several non-profit organizations.


Jon Erickson, CPA
Senior Account Manager/Accountant

Jon Erickson graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2005 with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance, Investment, and Banking.  He then joined the Lodge and Spa at Cordillera in Edwards, Colorado and in 2006, Mr. Erickson joined the Cordillera Metropolitan District where he served as Finance Director until 2016.

Mr. Erickson joined the Firm in 2016 and works with several special Districts and golf course clients as well as participating in the Firm’s tax practice.

Mr. Erickson is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the National Association of Tax Preparers. 

 

Rick Gonzales

Senior Account Manager

Rick Gonzales graduated from California State University at Fresno in 1978 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gonzales worked for multiple entities centered around real estate development and property management, including the Stapleton Development Corporation where he served as Vice President of Finance and Administration for the company as well as the associated metropolitan Districts and Associations.


Mr. Gonzales joined the Firm in 2014 and works with numerous Special Districts and Homeowner Associations providing a full range of accounting, administration, and management services to these clients out of our Louisville office.


Meghan Hayes
Account Manager
Meghan Hayes graduated in 1999 with an Accounting degree from the State University of New York at Albany.  After college, Ms. Hayes worked as a Finance Manager for several large entertainment companies in NYC and Los Angeles. She moved to Colorado in 2009 and hasn’t looked back.


Ms. Hayes joined the firm in 2018 as an Account Manager for a number of Special Districts and Homeowners Associations. Outside of work, she enjoys getting outside and enjoying all the beauty that is the Rocky Mountains.


Beth Johnston
Account Manager

Beth Johnston obtained a Bachelor’s degree, graduating with honors, from Hunter College CUNY in 1998 and received a Certificate in Accounting, also with honors, from Colorado Mountain College in 2007.  Ms. Johnston worked in the hospitality and restaurant industries in New York City prior to moving to Colorado.  She got her start in accounting in 1999 as a part-time accounts receivable clerk for a local non-profit and worked her way to Accounting Manager for a local corporation.  Ms. Johnston has accounting and bookkeeping experience with corporate, hospitality, restaurant, small business, non-profit, and governmental entities.  She is also a licensed Community Association Manager.

Ms. Johnston joined the Firm in 2015 and provides a full range of accounting and administration services for several special districts and homeowner association clients.  She also serves as a Board member of her Homeowners Association and enjoys the active lifestyle living in the Valley affords.


Krista Koenig
Account Manager


Krista Koenig attended Metropolitan State studying Accounting.  Prior to joining the firm she worked for both Clifton Gunderson (now Clifton Larsen Allen) in their Special District accounting division as well as ColoTrust (an investment pool utilized by many of the firms clients).

Ms. Koenig joined the Louisville office of the firm in 2020 and provides accounting and administrative services to a number of special District clients.


Kathy Lewensten

Account Manager

Kathy Lewensten has an associates degree in accounting and business from Midwest Business College. Her prior experience includes working at the Eagle County Clerk and Recorder’s office, in several accounting firms, as an office manager for an electrical contractor and in the main accounting office of a major retailer before working as an assistant controller for B & B Excavating from June 1991 through June 2000.


Ms. Lewensten joined the Firm in 2001 and is an account manager for numerous districts and associations.


Stephen Lloyd, CPA

Senior Account Manager

Stephen Lloyd graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Florida in 1998 with a BS in Accounting, receiving the outstanding accounting student award.  He holds active CPA licenses in both Florida and Colorado. 

After a number of years in public accounting, working in both audit and tax, Stephen joined a start-up software company in Denver and over 17 years helped grow it to over 200 employees and millions of dollars in annual revenue.  As CFO, Stephen was instrumental in selling the company to a global public interest in 2019. 

Stephen’s volunteer service includes having served as Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors for a Jefferson County Open Space Park in Conifer, Colorado.  Stephen also served as Treasurer and Board member for The Erie Air Fair, promoting Aviation and supporting STEM education through grants.  Stephen is a United States Navy veteran.  Outside work, Stephen, a licensed pilot, lives on an airport and enjoys maintaining and flying his aircraft.  He enjoys traveling, hiking, snowboarding and motorcycling.


​Stephen serves  as a Senior Account Manager for a number of Special District clients of the firm.

 

Erin McCauley
Account Manager

​Erin McCauley is a Colorado native who graduated from Metropolitan State University in Denver with a degree in Business Management.   Her career in the Denver metro area included banking operations and working for Coors in Treasury and Finance.  She moved to Eagle County in 2009 to work for Starwood Hotels and most recently worked for Vail Resorts/Beaver Creek, as well as providing accounting and finance services for several homeowner associations in the Beaver Creek area. 


Erin joined the firm in 2020 as an Account Manager for a number of Special Districts and Homeowners Associations. 
Outside of work, Erin spends as much time as possible enjoying the Colorado outdoors. 


Lori Tarpey, CPA

Senior Account Manager
Lori Tarpey graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003 with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting.  She started her career with Strohm Ballweg in Madison, WI auditing insurance companies for two years before moving to the Vail Valley in 2006.  From 2006 until 2017, she worked as a Staff Accountant and eventually Manager for McMahan and Associates auditing homeowner associations, not-for-profit entities, and local governments.  From 2017 until 2019, she worked as Eagle County’s Controller in the Finance Department.

Ms. Tarpey joined the Firm in December 2019 and works with various Special Districts. 

Ms. Tarpey has been a licensed CPA since 2006 and is a member of the Colorado Society of CPA's and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
